Camouflaged Restroom Door in Munich

This is quite a special case for bad door usability:

Camouflaged restroom door.

Knowing how to open it is almost a “luxury problem”, at first you need to figure out if that really is a door.

I took that photo a few months ago in a restaurant in Lehel, a district of Munich. Looking for the restroom, I noticed the letters “WC” – see photo – but didn’t get that they also marked the door. I really moved into another room where I expected the “real” restrooms to be – nothing. Then I took a closer look at the wall with the letters and discovered the “secret door”. Finally, I also managed how to open it by pushing anywhere. Happy end.

Doors should communicate how to open them. (And where they are.)
