Moved 1,200 Bookmarks to del.icio.us

Finally, my bookmarks have been imported to del.icio.us. For what it’s worth, I was surprised that I already collected about 1,200 favorite resources, though almost a half of them being temporary (to be read), now tagged as “temp”.
If you’re interested in these resources please note that the tags are somewhat messed up since they depend on the former structure of my bookmarks. They will surely be subject of later revision.
Some notes on motivation and the migration process: I’ve always been a happy user of Firefox’ Bookmarks Synchronizer anyway, but wanted to “really” manage all bookmarks online, and sharing them seemed to be a good idea, as transparency always is. The import was smooth, though certain downtime of del.icio.us made things more “challenging”. The possibility to delete and rename tags was quite helpful, too. If you also plan to import your bookmarks to del.icio.us, you might want to check out Freshblog’s bookmarks migration post including a useful bookmarklet to share imported favorites (that appear to be “not shared” by default).
