Heading webinale 07 … Not

I just canceled my session on the webinale 07 due to severe allergic reactions (at full tilt since Friday), probably even including a cold that flew under the radar. I don’t feel fine, and I can hardly speak.
Here’s the old plan and the post I scheduled for today, for the sake of completeness:
I’m soon leaving Berlin in order to join the webinale 07 conference in Ludwigsburg (May 21-23). On Wednesday (9:15 CEST) I’ll have a session on “best bractice” prototypes based on HTML, CSS, and DOM scripting:
HTML/CSS prototypes become more and more important, especially in large and complex projects. Often they’re treated stepmotherly though, which entirely undermines their usefulness and causes problems. The session shows – independent of the technical basis – how you can benefit from prototypes and what is necessary for them to be considered good.
Of course, there are many other interesting and important speeches covering not only web development (including much AJAX stuff, sure) but also design, web security, web services, and business topics. Speakers include Dave Shea (keynote), Tomas Caspers, Frank Westphal, Peter Roßbach, Paramesh Vaidyanathan, and Sebastian Küpers.
By the way, I’ll publish my presentation soon after the conference, both in English and German.
The last two paragraphs will still hold true.
Apologies to all people interested in that speech. And concerning the “boratesque” heading, well, I needed to keep some gallows humor.
