Back from Vacation, Back to Work

The day before yesterday I arrived in Berlin again, after a 10 hour trip from Genoa via Hamburg. It was a really nice cruise, though it wasn’t that relaxing both Barbara and me hoped it would be – each city where the Musica anchored just needed to be visited and that doesn’t give much room for hanging around, exposed to the sun. (I don’t say I need that, but some rest’s fine.) I will only publish photos on heavy requests, but I may say that Barcelona was most impressive. Really beautiful. Need. To. Move.

So yesterday I mainly checked emails (1,487, of which 597 were spam), scanned or read news items (1,321), and did some quality assurance (validation, link checks, blog comment moderation, minor updates). While writing this post I’m sitting in a train heading Mainz, where I will finally assist my colleagues in getting ZDF things done. While publishing this post I’m already in an office there.
