Matrix: HTML 4 Elements and CSS 2 Properties (Beta)

Adrian Christen of halbehalbe, Switzerland, created an interesting matrix of HTML 4.01 elements (from the “Strict” document type) and CSS 2.1 properties, including some support notes. I asked him to publish it, but got permission to offer it in this place instead:
Please note that
- of course, you use these documents at your own risk (saying that since me, I’m somewhat doubtful about certain Office documents, and independent of the fact that I scanned the files with Avira, just to make sure everything’s indeed fine),
- I just scanned the original matrix and thus am all the more looking forward to notes on errors (no reward though since the document in question was not created by me),
- the document uses both English and German but should be accessible to English readers nonetheless,
- for now, I simply converted the original ODS to XLS and PDF format using NeoOffice – I certainly welcome tips and intend to provide versions of better quality.
Depending on the feedback for this “Beta” version, Adrian or I will provide a stable version fixing aforementioned issues. We’re looking forward to your remarks.

Great post, thanks for sharing it in all three formats. I think I’m going to try to squeeze things down a little before I print it - maybe combine some columns like a/abbr/acronym that seem identical.

Glad you enjoy it, Dave, and despite some lacking additional feedback I’m definitely considering some improvements to these documents.
