Humor
❧ Is this all? I like to keep things simple but, no, I follow other people and organizations, too—just not by feed.
* Currently under review. As mentioned in the past, this is part of my process to avoid information overkill. Review reasons range from verifying new sources to confirming matches with my priorities to keeping an eye on what may be dead.
†You probably wonder, what’s up with this one! I’ve been following the Haiti Times since a couple of years into the Haiti gang war, something pretty much no one is reporting about in the media around me. (Speaking of which, did you know that Kenya is heading the international mission to help Haiti? Exactly.) This is likely to be a temporary thing, but I’ve actually learned a lot about Haiti already!
About Me
I’m Jens (long: Jens Oliver Meiert), and I’m a web developer, manager, and author. I’ve worked as a technical lead and engineering manager for a few companies, I’m a contributor to several web standards, and I write and review books for O’Reilly and Frontend Dogma.
I love trying things, not only in web development and engineering management, but also in other areas like philosophy. Here on meiert.com I share some of my experiences and views. (I value you being critical, interpreting charitably, and giving feedback.)
